Local Junior Tennis Player Wins National Title

Lincolnshire Resident Jack Secord Won the Boy's 12s National Clay Court Tennis Championship

Lincolnshire, IL resident Jack Secord won the boy's 12 and Under National Clay Court Championship, winning seven matches in a row in straight sets. Jack is currently ranked number one in the United States in the Boy's 12 and Under Division and will compete in the National Hard Court Championship August 8-15 in Mobile, Alabama.

To say tennis is in Jack's blood would be an understatement. His mother, who played under the name Linda Wild, reached a career high ranking on #20 in the world and had wins over some of the biggest names in women's tennis in the 1990s. Grandfather, Steve Wild owns the LIfeSport Athletic Clubs including LifeSport Lincolnshire where Jack trains.
