Northwest Suburban High School District 214, in partnership with the Mount Prospect Park District, will present a live, outdoor production of "Disney's Descendants: The Musical" Thursday through Sunday, July 8-11.

The show is based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies featuring beloved Disney characters and descendants of famous Disney villains.

The cast is composed of students from all District 214 high schools, and the musical is directed by Jeremy Morton, District 214 Fine Arts coordinator, with assistance from several other performing arts teachers from throughout the district.

All performances will be at the Veterans Memorial Bandshell at Lions Park, 411 S. Maple St., Mount Prospect. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m., while the Sunday performance will begin at 4 p.m.

Lawn circles seating up to six people are available for $20 each on the park district's website, www.mppd.org/district-214-summer-musical.

Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs and snacks, as concessions will not be available.
