Kenosha's New Lakeside Lounge Opens June 10 at Kemper Center

Need a new Thursday night after work lounge spot? The Kemper Center has the music, food, drinks, and view for you!

On Thursday, June 10 at 5:00pm, the new Lakeside Lounge opens to the public behind the Kemper Center near the lakeshore path. With a spectacular view of Lake Michigan, you can listen to live music outdoors as you dine and drink.

Limited picnic table seating is available, so guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets and find a spot on the grass. Food will be available for purchase from Blu Popper and SuperNova Artisan Lemonade, and there will be a full bar available in the Kemper Center's Faulkner building.

Live music is provided courtesy of Guitars for Vets and the Square Wave trio. Square Wave performs "epic chill" original jazz and progressive improv. Veteran guest musicians will be joining them to perform throughout the Lakeside Lounge dates. Guitars For Vets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of ailing and injured military veterans by providing them free guitars and music instruction.

At the Lakeside Lounge, Guitars for Vets will be accepting donations of musical instruments, which will are typically re-deployed to their chapters around the country or sold via their e-commerce platforms to fund purchases of guitars and accessories for Veterans in the program.

The Lakeside Lounge will take place from 5:00-9:00pm on six Thursday nights this summer: June 10, June 24, July 22, August 5, August 19, and September 2.
