Local doctor to serve at PGA's Evans Scholars Invitational

Batavia, IL, May 2021--Dr. Dan Bucek, DC, DACBSP will be serving as a sports medicine and Sports Chiropractic provider for the Korn Ferry Tour's 2021 Evans Scholars Invitational. The Evans Scholars Invitational will be held at the Glen Club in Glenview, IL on May 26-30. The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S.-based PGA Tour, and features professional golfers who have either not yet reached the PGA Tour, or who have done so, but then failed to win enough FedEx Cup points to stay at that level. Since the 2013 season, the Korn Ferry Tour has been the primary pathway for those seeking to earn their PGA Tour card.

Dr. Bucek owns Bucek Chiropractic at 2562 W. Fabyan Parkway in Batavia. The office specializes in complete chiropractic care, treatment for sports injuries for children and adults, and offers massage therapy, infrared sauna therapy, and myofascial treatments for a variety of muscle-related ailments.

Dr. Bucek's arduous training as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP ) provided him instruction specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports.

This training made him the perfect candidate to serve at this Korn Ferry event. In fact, Dr. Bucek is 1 of 7 Sports Chiropractors in Illinois.

Dr. Bucek currently serves as a Sports Chiropractor at the U.S. Olympics Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado; serves as the Sports Chiropractor for the USHL's Chicago Steel; and is on the provider list for US Soccer. He also worked as a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks' minor league medical staff for six seasons providing care for the Kane County Cougars.
