Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake will host its Spring Rummage/Estate Sale on May 14-15. The church has been collecting donations for over a year as there were no sales last year.

Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 14, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at the church, 5N600 Hanson Road, just east of Route 47 in St. Charles. Use the parking lot at the rear entrance for ease of accessibility.

Although some items will be indoors, most of the sale will be spread across the church parking lot, pavilion, and garage.

With the help of overwhelming donations from members' homes and others who are downsizing, these events have proved to be successful fundraisers each year -- while helping others with their homes' spring cleaning.

If you are unfamiliar with Lily Lake, you can find the church just north of crossroads at routes 64 and 47. There are many household items for everyone's use -- for your kitchen, bedroom, living room, many furniture items, seasonal decorations, tools. Many items are $1 and the popular "Fill-A-Bag for $5" with clothing also will be available.

The church did not have indoor worship during most of 2020, so they are looking forward to recapturing some funds for the ministry.
