Join naturalists on wildflower hikes this spring

Join a hike to find the beautiful wildflowers that show themselves in the spring.

Join a Forest Preserve District naturalist for a walk through the woodlands to find some plants and learn about their habitats and histories.

The program, "Wildflowers Galore!" is offered in April and May.

The first program takes place Sunday, April 11, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Johnson's Mound Forest Preserve, 41W600 Hughes Road in Elburn, and the second program takes place Saturday, May 8, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Camp Tomo Chi-Chi Knolls, 40W095 Freeman Road in Gilberts.

Advance registration is required. Call (630) 444-3190 or e-mail programs@kaneforest.com to register. These programs are free and for all-ages.
