Join virtual volunteer orientation Feb. 18 with Forest Preserve District of Kane County

Learn about the volunteer opportunities available with the Forest Preserve District of Kane County at an upcoming volunteer orientation, virtually!

Volunteers are needed in the following areas: natural resources; environmental education; public safety; trails and recreation; and cultural and historic preservation.

Volunteers make a positive impact on the natural areas in Kane County. Potential volunteers will learn about District history, the natural history of Kane County, safety policies and all of our volunteer opportunities.

Orientation sessions are now held virtually, from 7 to 8 p.m., on the following dates:

• Thursday, Feb. 18

• Tuesday, April 20

• Thursday, June 24

• Tuesday, Aug. 24

• Thursday, Oct. 14

• Tuesday, Nov. 16

Sessions are held via Zoom. Please RSVP for the session that works best for you by contacting Robb Cleave, volunteer coordinator, at CleaveRobb@kaneforest.com. From there, you will get all of the details for the Zoom Volunteer orientation session. For more information, call 630-232-5980.
