Student collects over 600 valentines for Glenview Assisted Living Communities
Regina Dominican freshman Kat Schuenzel is spreading the love this Valentine's Day by collecting more than 600 Valentine's Day cards to bring joy to the elderly in her community.
Kat, along with her younger sister, Kourtney, made 100 Valentine's Day cards herself and collected 600 from neighbors and friends in Glenview.
The valentines were delivered and sent to four assisted living communities: The Abbington, The Citadel, and Glenview Terrace, all in Glenview; and St. James in Chicago.
