Schaumburg library offers teen music program

Young people ages 12 to 19 years are welcome to participate in "Creating a Teen Record Label" from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 4-25, online with the Schaumburg Township District Library.

Those interested must register at SchaumburgLibrary.org to receive the Zoom link to this free program.

Any teens who like to make beats, rap, sing, or just want to learn what it takes to create and release a record online will learn the various roles in the music industry. Participants may also get to see their music available on streaming services.

To join the program, teens should first watch the videos created by music producer and educator Jalen Little at SchaumburgLibrary.tv, then attend the live sessions.
