Adler Arts Center announces its 2021 summer camp programs

The Adler Arts Center has announced open registration for its day camps and Junior Counselor program.

Campers participate in an array of creative fine arts classes and spend time playing outdoor camp games that encourage community and nurture young friendships. Registration begins March 2.

Camp Adler is the camp for ages 5-11 to explore music, drama and art. Campers explore current interests and develop new ones as they participate in a variety of art, music and drama classes. Classes may include painting, sculpture, clay, cartooning, improv, theater, ukulele and drumming.

Junior Counselors participate in community art projects, assist younger students in their classroom, and grow their creative leadership skills. The Junior Counselor program is for students entering grades 7-10.

For summer 2021, the Adler Arts Center will run an in-person camp with limited capacity and in line with all current CDC and IDPH protocols. Classes will take place in outdoor classrooms, weather permitting.

Due to the limited number of spaces available, early enrollment is strongly encouraged. For additional flexibility and peace of mind, camp insurance is now available.

Three sessions will be offered: June 14-25, June 28 to July 9 (no camp on July 5) and July 12-23.
