Prospect Heights Library Begins Winter Reading Program January 11

In the midst of renovations, the Prospect Heights Public Library will run its all-ages winter reading program "Building a Better Future @ Your Library" virtually January 11 - March 21.

Participants join by accessing the direct link found on the Library's website starting on Monday, January 11. There is also an app that can be downloaded, READsquared, to a mobile device to track reading progress and obtain raffle tickets. The program uses a Bingo card style format to record activities completed. Activities included are reading or participating in Library events via Zoom. Each activity will gain you a raffle ticket. All participants will be able to complete up to three bingo cards. Prizes include gift cards from local businesses.

Other activities include a virtual escape room for children and online brain teasers, such as word games and jigsaw puzzles, for adults. Paper versions of the brain teasers and the reading log will be available inside the Take and Go box near the curbside pick-up parking spots.

To register, participants can visit Prospect Heights Library's website www.phpl.info, email winter@phpl.info, or call (847) 259-3500.
