Vernon Hills' Hand2mind Kicks Off The New Year With $650,000 Donation Of Educational Resources To Kids In Need Foundation

WHAT: As students around the country ring in 2021 with a mixture of remote and in-class learning, hand2mind, an award-winning educational resource company, is making sure children in the Chicagoland area will be able to receive greatly needed school supplies. The company recently made a $650,000 donation of hands-on resources to Kids in Need Foundation, an organization that provides free school supplies to teachers and students to ensure every child is prepared to learn and succeed, to be distributed to families in need. The donation of readers, books, and math and science school resources, is one of the largest donations ever made by the company to Kids in Need Foundation.

"With 2020 behind us, we want to make sure that our community partners start the new year with the materials they need to serve families struggling with this unique school year," said Leslie Lee, Marketing Director of hand2mind. "Our relationship with Kids in Need Foundation continues to flourish and as a company, we couldn't think of a better way to kick off 2021 than by supporting Chicago-area students and championing their ability to learn by doing."
