Daddio's Diner collects over 350 toys for Batavia ACCESS Drive

Owners Scott and Terry Beltran of Daddio's Diner in Batavia hosted a collection drive to support Batavia ACCESS Toy Drive. They collected over 350 toys in just two weekends.

"This community's generosity had us in tears," Terry shared. "This is what happens when a town comes together."

This holiday season, the restaurant at 134 W. Wilson St. wanted to do something special for the community.

With many families hurting this year, Christmas gifts would be last on their list. So the owners organized their first toy drive collection on Nov. 28-29 and Dec. 5-6.

The Batavia ACCESS Toy Drive has been serving the Batavia children for over three decades. For details on the group, email bataviaaccesstoys@gmail.com.
