Thanking those who served with service

This year, the United Relief Foundation's annual 'Tis the Season of Service campaign responds to the pandemic induced isolation, food insecurity, and basic needs amongst our vulnerable veterans.

Launched on Veterans Day, 'Tis the Season of Service is a dedicated campaign focused on supporting veterans, men and women, through the holidays.

By taking added safety precautions, volunteers reach out with hope and help in the service of an increasing number of veterans in dire and desperate need of both.

"One good deed can make a difference by being the difference for a veteran in need, and this year more good deeds are needed more than ever," comments United Relief Foundation president Frank Salato. "I'm hopeful the spirit of the season will engage the public to reach out to their local veteran support organization."

The 'Tis the Season of Service campaign ends on Dec. 31, and is part of the Foundation's Rapid Response Initiative that comes to the aid of veterans, men and women, in need at a critical time on a moment's notice.

Deerfield Illinois based, the United Relief Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) humanitarian aid organization dedicated to doing the good deeds that make profound lasting differences in the lives of the men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces.
