Temple B'Nai Israel begins religious school year Oct. 13

Temple B'nai Israel in Aurora will begin its 2020-21 religious school year on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

Hebrew classes start on Sunday, Oct. 18.

This virtual, personal learning model via Zoom is designed to build a strong foundation of Jewish knowledge and identity for children from second to sixth grades.

Weekly sessions will be taught by Rabbi Edward Friedman and other experienced instructors from the Temple B'nai Israel community.

Students can expect to learn about a wide array of topics related to Jewish life that range from history and prayer to traditions and the Torah. Students in the B'nai Mitzvot or confirmation level can work with Rabbi Friedman for individual meeting times.

Parents with children younger than the second grade who are interested in this program may contact the synagogue office to develop an alternate schedule.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, tuition costs are modestly priced for this school year.
