President of Donlen in Bannockburn Elected Into Fleet Hall of Fame

Donlen, a fleet management leader that develops innovative fleet technology solutions and offers a proactive, hands-on approach to customer service, is proud to announce the election of president Tom Callahan into the Fleet Hall of Fame. Presented by Automotive Fleet, the Automotive Fleet and Leasing Administration's Fleet Hall of Fame recognizes fleet industry leaders and pioneers who have contributed significantly to the commercial fleet management profession. To be considered for the Fleet Hall of Fame, inductees need to have at least a decade of experience in fleet management. The Fleet Hall of Fame was established in 2008 and has inducted 85 men and women since its inception.

"Thank you to everyone who played a role in helping me achieve this honor - Donlen employees, customers, mentors, colleagues, friends, family - you are the best," said Callahan. "There are many deserving folks in this industry, and I am humbled by this recognition."

As president of Donlen since September 2008, Callahan establishes the strategic focus and drives the implementation of key initiatives for all business operations. His dedication to employee satisfaction, customer retention, and corporate culture allows Donlen to best serve its customers. Because of his focus on Donlen's service delivery model across all business units, Donlen maintains a year-over-year 99% customer retention rate.

"I wholeheartedly believe that happy employees lead to happy customers. It can be that simple and make the biggest difference," said Callahan. "As a five-time winner of the Nation's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For award, as well as being named one of Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For each year since 2015, these recognitions speak volumes on the kind of culture we have at Donlen."

Before joining Donlen, Callahan held various global leadership positions in areas such as sales management, product development, quality assurance, and operations at GE Commercial Finance's Fleet Services and GE Consumer Finance in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australasia. Callahan began his career in 1980 at Ford Motor Company where he worked in sales, merchandising, and operations roles. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Callahan and his family reside in Elmhurst, Illinois.
