Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, known for its award-winning, hand crafted sandwiches, recently debuted a new location in St. Charles at 1960 W. Main St.

Capriotti's brings the St. Charles community its 40-year tradition of slow-roasting whole, all-natural turkeys in-house and hand-pulling them every morning and other favorites like the made-from-scratch meatballs using premium, fresh ingredients.

Capriotti's is known for its wide array of sandwiches including The Bobbie, made with our fresh oven-roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo, the Capastrami, made with hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and homemade coleslaw and the cheesesteak is made with premium steak, chicken or Impossible plant-based meat and melted cheese plus hot or sweet peppers. The St. Charles Capriotti's will offer a convenient order-ahead option, in addition to third-party delivery services with partners including Uber Eats, Doordash and Postmates. The new shop will bring 20 new jobs to the St. Charles community.

The new local sandwich shop is owned and operated by married couple Anneliese and Paul Claps. Anneliese and Paul both have extensive professional experience in the restaurant industry, and always had dreams of owning their own dining option. Paul decided to try the brand for himself when he heard about Capriotti's while listening to a local radio interview with Capriotti's CEO Ashley Morris. After experiencing the quality food Capriotti's offers at an affordable price, the Claps knew the sandwich shop would be the perfect way to begin their entrepreneurial careers.

"After trying the product, what really sealed the deal for us was the support and understanding from the brand's corporate team," said Paul. "Once we felt philosophically aligned with Capriotti's and personally believed in the quality of the product, we knew we wanted to bring it to our community. We're very excited to get started and share Capriotti's with the residents and guests of St. Charles."
