Palatine's St. Theresa School returns to in-person learning

St. Theresa School, 445 N. Benton St. in Palatine, opens their doors to 360 students from preschool through eighth grade for the 2020-21 school year.

St. Theresa decided to keep their classrooms with fewer students for the beginning of the school year in order to follow Centers for Disease Control guidelines of social distancing.

Principal Mary Keenley states, "The safety of our teachers and students is our top priority!"

The admission's office continues to receive applications and maintains a waitlist for future enrollment.

Although St. Theresa welcomed many new students in person, some parents chose the remote live stream option offered by St. Theresa School. Parents have the choice of in-person or remote learning as they begin the school year.

Students were excited to return to their classrooms for in-person instruction after being away for five months!

They arrived by foot, car and bus in their school uniforms and masks. We are so proud of our "STS superheroes!"
