Mount Prospect Human Services Department Launches School Supply Donation Program

The Mount Prospect Human Services Department is launching its annual School Supply Donation Program. Families will receive a backpack with a gift card so that they are able to purchase their child's needed school supplies. The participating families include those who regularly utilize the Village's food pantry, or who have experienced recent financial hardship due to COVID-19.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, we are only accepting monetary donations at this time; we are unable to accept donations of supplies. Residents who would like to donate to the program may do so by making a monetary donation via Paypal at https://www.mountprospect.org/departments/human-services/online-donations. The Human Services Department will purchase gift cards for the families with the donations. Donations to the program will be accepted through Aug. 3, 2020.
