PACC Hosts Workshop on Restore Illinois and its Effect on Business

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) Ambassadors will be hosting a workshop entitled, 'Getting Back to Business in Our New World' on Zoom. The event will take place Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. This discussion is designed to provide resources and information for local businesses, as well as answers to questions about guidelines relating to Phase 3 'Recovery' and beyond of the Restore Illinois Plan.

The Engage PACC! Workshop will be attended by State Representative Tom Morrison and Palatine Mayor Jim Schwantz who will take part in the discussion. Time will be allotted for Q&A at the end of this event, which is free and open to the public.

"The goal here is to assist Palatine area businesses and organizations in succeeding and prospering during these challenging times," said PACC Board President Eric Marzinke, of Promark Planners. "We invite PACC members and non-members alike in the Palatine area to participate in this informative workshop as we all get back to work."

The workshop will help to bring clarity to guidelines on how Phase 3 impacts businesses. Examples of how all Illinois businesses have had to adjust include strict restaurant guidelines to provide outdoor dining, office spaces that must now monitor individuals who are entering, as well as the requirement of face covers and continued social distancing. Overall guidelines in Phase 3, and answers to questions from attendees will also be provided.

This Engage PACC! workshop is part of a series created by the PACC Ambassadors and is designed to provide education and resources to area businesses and organizations, while helping to increase marketing and promotional reach. Additionally, a goal is to encourage new relationships from within and outside of the PACC organization. Networking opportunities are also provided as part of this workshop series.
