Prospect Heights Library Begins Curbside Pick Up June 8

The Prospect Heights Public Library will begin offering curbside pickup service starting on June 8, 2020. This service is available to Prospect Heights Public Library cardholders. Reciprocal borrowers should visit their home libraries.

Items for pickup must be requested in advance by using the Library's online catalog, phone, or chat line available on our homepage at www.phpl.info. Hold requests can also be sent via email to the Youth Services Department at ysdept@phpl.info or the Adult Services Department at asdept@phpl.info. When holds become available, patrons will be notified by email, text, or phone. They should then contact the library at 847-259-3500 to schedule a pickup appointment.

Curbside pickup will be offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm as well as Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Library is located at 12 North Elm Street in Prospect Heights.

Patrons may now return checked out items. All incoming materials will be quarantined for 7 days before they re-enter circulation. For everyone's safety, Library staff will work staggered shifts, maintain social distancing, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, sanitize surfaces and wash hands frequently.

The Prospect Heights Public Library staff is excited to provide Curbside Service to their patrons and look forward to seeing them soon.
