Enjoy Story Time virtually with your child at Creek Bend Nature Center

Enjoy some stories told by the St. Charles Public Library staff during the virtual "Story Time at Creek Bend Nature Center."

Virtually explore the outdoors at Creek Bend Nature Center, and learn how you can create beautiful things with natural materials.

This popular series moves online for the summer season, with each new program posted on the St. Charles Public Library channel on YouTube.

Registration is not required for this free program.

This program series is for children (infants through age 5) and their caregivers.

"Story Times" are at 10 a.m. and are scheduled for Wednesdays, June 10 and 24, July 8 and 22, and Aug. 5 and 19.

Creek Bend Nature Center is located within LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve at 37W700 Dean St., St. Charles.

Shelters will reopen to the public on Saturday, May 30. Creek Bend Nature Center will reopen to the public on Monday, June 1. Follow social-distancing protocols. Gatherings of 10 or more people will not be permitted. You may be asked to wait to enter a facility, until less than 10 people are present. Preserve bathrooms will slowly be phased back in, at a later date. Nature programs will resume with 10-person maximums, June 1.
