Apply for seat on Roselle Public Library board

The Roselle Public Library District announces a vacancy on the board of trustees, effective immediately.

Qualified residents are encouraged to send their resumes/CVs to the board via email at boardoftrustees@roselle.lib.il.us.

Applications will be accepted now through 5 p.m. Monday, June 8.

To be eligible to serve on the board of trustees, interested candidates must meet the following qualifications as outlined in 75 ILCS 16/30-20: Be a qualified elector of the library district; reside in the library district for at least one year at the time of application; not be in arrears in the payment of property taxes to the library district; and ot have been convicted in any court in the United States of any infamous crime, bribery, perjury, or other felony.

The successful applicant will fill a seat due for re-election at the April 6, 2021 Consolidated General Election.
