Elk Grove Township Postpones Annual Town Meeting Due to Governor's Order

Due to the Governor's Stay at Home order, which was recently extended through April 30, 2020, Elk Grove Township has postponed three upcoming events.

The Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation ordered that the Annual Town Meeting be suspended until the proclamation is lifted. Therefore, the meeting scheduled for April 14 will be rescheduled for a date not yet determined. Additionally, two open houses at the Township's new Elk Grove Village location at 600 Landmeier Drive, which were planned for April 16, and April 18, will also be rescheduled.

"These are certainly unprecedented times and the Township is doing all it can to maintain services and support our residents, amid the governor's order," said Elk Grove Township Supervisor Mike Sweeney. "We are looking forward to rescheduling these events and encourage our residents to attend the Annual Town Meeting, as well as one of our open houses, to introduce them to our new location."
