Move ahead: Register now for spring classes at ECC

Registration is now underway for spring classes at Elgin Community College. The new semester begins Jan. 13.

College staff are ready and available to help new students through the application and enrollment process, regardless of the student's age or stage in life. Students are advised to register as soon as possible to get the best selection of courses and times, so they can build a schedule that fits with their lives and goals.

ECC offers more than 130 degree and certificate options in popular areas of study such as business and professional services; digital technologies; health professions; education and human services; liberal, visual and performing arts; emergency services and public safety; technical education; and university transfer. Over 20 different student clubs and organizations give students the opportunity for social engagement, leadership development, volunteering, and more. An active campus of on-campus presentations and guest speakers help students expand their perspectives outside of the classroom.

Many adults who have no college credit, as well as those who have some credit but no degree, can move ahead at ECC to increase their earnings potential in a current field or to transition into a new career by completing a degree or certificate program. Some certificates can be earned in as little as one semester.
