Millennium Farm announces new location in Lake Forest

The Leverick family of Fox Lake, Illinois, is pleased to announce the new location in Lake Forest for their Millennium Farm beginning in January 2020!

The farm will be sharing space with Horsefeathers Therapeutic Riding at 1181 Riverwoods Road.

The new location offers easy access for clients with plenty of amenities for both horse and rider.

Trainers and mother-daughter team, Sue and Katie Leverick, will be continuing the holiday spirit by donating $5 from every lesson in January to the therapy program to show their support for the outstanding program.

"Our move to Horsefeathers not only brings us closer to our clientele and has easier highway access but also gives us the opportunity to give back to our community," stated Sue Leverick. "The therapy program serves so many students and their program is an inspiration to us all. Horses do amazing things for all riders including ours. We learn from our horses in so many ways."

In addition to the new location, Millennium Farm announces Katie Leverick as a full partner in the business.

Leverick will handle all the training rides as her specialty with the ability to communicate to owners, riders, and trainers how to get the most out of the horse from her experience in the tack. She brings both hunter and jumper experience to the forefront of the business and has earned numerous championships, hunter derby wins and top jumper/grand prix ribbons for the Millennium Farm banner.

This past fall, Katie was on the Bronze medal team at the 2019 Platinum Performance Jumper Championships.

Katie is also the stable manager for Millennium Farm and handles all necessary scheduling for the vet and farrier as well as dispensing and monitoring all daily medications, supplements, and the Nutrena sponsored feeding program. Each horse gets its own specialized program to keep them healthy and ready to compete.

"I could not be more excited to get started with our 2020 show season! " exclaimed Katie. "We have a lot of new horses and partnerships that are already promising to be incredibly successful. My mom and I are always continuing our growth and learning more, which we love to pass on to all of our clients. I am very proud to be part of each client's personal growth and accomplishments."

Millennium Farm produced riders who earned championships throughout the 2019 season with highlights featuring Madison O'Meara of Barrington, Illinois, as a Silver medal team member in the 2019 Children's Jumper Championships and LaPagina, owned by O'Meara, earned the 2019 Circuit Championship in Ocala in the 1.15m jumper division.

Millennium Farm wishes all of their clients much luck and success as they head to the Ocala, Florida Circuit for the 2020 winter season!

At their new location, Millennium Farm will provide quality service and a diverse program including riding lessons, horse training, opportunities to horse show, summer camps and charity events. Limited stalls are available for full training packages, which include full-service grooming for schedule conscious clients.
