Palatine Park District Presents Programs For Days Off School In January And February

School's Out Fun days at Falcon Park Recreation Center provide activities and games on days off school following the Community Consolidated School District 15 calendar. These events include both organized games and unstructured play in the gym and on the turf along with crafts, games, and more. Participants should wear gym shoes and bring a water bottle and a lunch.

Program hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm, with optional extended hours available from 7:00am to 9:00am and from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Program registration is required in order to register for the extended hours. The fee is $40 for residents and $60 for non-residents for each daily program. The fees for each session of optional before or after care is $12 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Dates this session include January 21 and 22 and February 18 and 19. Registration is available online at palatineparks.org or in person at Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, and Falcon Park Recreation Center.

According to Assistant Falcon Park Manager Jonathan Seidenzahl, "Palatine Park District's School's Out Fun Days at Falcon Park Recreation Center are safe, fun-filled days that will offer a variety of activities including Nerf® games, dodgeball, basketball, capture the flag, soccer, crafts, and more. These days are full of fun that your child won't want to miss!"
