School's Out Fun days at Falcon Park Recreation Center provide activities and games on days off school following the Community Consolidated School District 15 calendar. The Park District takes advantage of their unique facility by offering open games on the indoor turf, structured play in the gym and crafting. All children should be ready to play by wearing gym shoes and packing a water bottle and lunch.

Program hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm, with optional extended hours available from 7:00am to 9:00am and from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Program registration is required in order to attend the extended hours.

. The fee is $40 for residents and $60 for non-residents for each daily program. The fees for each session of optional before or after care is $12 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Dates this session include January 3, 20, 21 and February 17. Registration is available online at or in person at Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, and Falcon Park Recreation Center.

Falcon Park Assistant Facility Manager, Jon Seidenzahl, says, "School's Out Fun Days at Falcon Park Recreation Center are safe, fun-filled days that will offer a variety of activities including Nerf® games, dodge ball, basketball, capture the flag, soccer, crafts, and more."

Avoid the stir-craziness of wintertime blues by sending your children to our School's Out Fun Days. But don't wait too long, Seidenzahl warns, "be sure to register soon, as these programs always fill quickly!"
