Fox Valley Jewish Neighbor to host annual Hanukkah Party and Potluck Dec. 14

Everyone's invited to the Fox Valley Jewish Neighbor's annual Hanukkah Party and Potluck from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road in Geneva. This event is interfaith-friendly and there is no cost to attend, though donations are welcome.

Grab your menorahs, bundle up the kids and come to the annual Festival of Lights. Celebrate the bravery of the Maccabees with holiday food, dreidel games and Israeli dancing, and have fun with friends old and new.

A dairy/vegetarian potluck meal is part of the annual party. Bring a dish to share. The food suggestions are: latkes, sour cream and applesauce; cutup veggies and/or fruit; bagels and cream cheese; hummus and pita; Sufganiyot (jelly-filled doughnuts); or desserts.

Fox Valley Jewish Neighbor will provide beverages and paper products. Email Rachel.
