Support Kaneland Foundation on 'GivingTuesday' Dec. 3

For the Kaneland Foundation, GivingTuesday is a chance to talk about our values and why we care so much about the work that we do. We can use GivingTuesday to introduce new people to our mission to support academic excellence through innovation.

GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

People demonstrate generosity in many ways on GivingTuesday. Whether it's helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving to causes we care about. Every act of generosity counts.

Those who are interested in joining The Kaneland Foundations 's GivingTuesday initiative can visit foundation.kaneland.org. For more details about the GivingTuesday movement, visit the GivingTuesday website (www.givingtuesday.org).

Whether it's making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give. It is our hope that GivingTuesday will assist us in making lifelong learning a reality, driving our students to become effective, compassionate, visionary leaders of our community.

Join the Kaneland Foundation on Dec. 3 for GivingTuesday so that we can continue funding teacher grants as part of our mission.

Since the Kaneland Foundation has no administrative costs, every dollar goes back to students in the Kaneland Unit District 302.
