The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced its All-NSIC soccer award recipients for 2019 on Nov. 14, and St. Cloud State University soccer team sophomore goalkeeper Zoe Welsh and freshman forward Jenna Dominguez have been selected as an All-NSIC Honorable Mention award winners.

Welsh has enjoyed a record setting year at SCSU with a team record nine shutouts to her credit along with a 0.70 GAA rate. Welsh is 12-4-3 this season and only needs one more victory to tie the current team record for most goalie wins in a season.

Dominguez ranks second on the team with five goals, five assists, 15 points and 49 shots for the Huskies. She recently scored the game winning goal in SCSU's 1-0 victory at Bemidji State on Nov. 13 in the first round of play in the 2019 NSIC tournament.

The Huskies will continue play in the NSIC tournament on Friday, Nov. 15 with a 2 p.m. match at Concordia-St. Paul in St. Paul, Minn. SCSU currently owns a 12-4-3 overall record and were 10-3-2 in NSIC play this season.

The 10 victories in NSIC play are the most league wins in team history and the Huskies only need one more win this season to tie the current team record of 13 win set in 1995.
