Learn about offerings at YWCA Elgin during open house Oct. 23

YWCA Elgin will hold an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Guests are welcome to drop in anytime between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. They encourage the community to stop by and learn about the programs, take a guided tour of the facility, enjoy some light refreshments, and hear about their goals for "Building a Brighter Future!"

Staff, teachers, program attendees, and board members will be on hand to answer questions and provide information for interested parties. All attendees will be entered into a door prize raffle.

"The YWCA Elgin is very excited to share information about our programs and services with members of the Elgin community. It is our hope that this event will help us gain new supporters and program attendees," states Alana Freedman, YWCA Elgin marketing and fundraising director.

The open house will take place at the YWCA Elgin, 220 E. Chicago St. in downtown Elgin.

In addition to on-street parking, there will also be parking available in the City of Elgin's parking deck on the corner of Spring and Chicago streets.
