Stop by Harvest of the Acorn Moon Festival Sept. 29

Join the Forest Preserve District of Kane County in celebrating the harvest season at the fall festival.

The annual Harvest of the Acorn Moon Festival will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Oakhurst Forest Preserve in Aurora.

At this family-friendly festival, there will be pumpkin painting, nature crafts, outdoor games, folk music and harvest-themed refreshments.

All ages are welcome. This event has free admission. There is a nominal fee for crafts and refreshments. Registration is not required.
