Lakemoor Dental With offices in Lakemoor and Hainesville Il Would like to welcome Dr. Dyer to our Growing Team of Professionals Dentists, Orthodontists, Endodontist and Implant Specialists.
Dr. Amanda Dyer attended undergrad at the University of Northern Iowa majoring in biology and chemistry. She then attended the University of Iowa earning her DDS degree in 2013.
Following her graduation, she joined the United States Navy and completed a one year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2014. After her residency, she then served 2 years onboard the USS Eisenhower CVN 69 out of Norfolk, VA.
She finished her military service locally, treating Navy recruits and teaching dentistry to new dental graduates for 3 years before transitioning to private practice in 2019. During her time in the Navy, Dr. Dyer earned two Navy and Marine corps Achievement Medals (2016, 2019), earned fellow status with the Academy of General Dentistry (2018), and earned senior officer title of Lieutenant Commander (2019).
When not at the clinic, you can find Dr. Dyer spending time with her two young boys and husband. She enjoys spending time outdoors, working out, and cooking.
