A Perfect Night for Wauconda Grade School at McDonald's

Teachers and support staff from Wauconda volunteered behind the counter and at the Drive-Thru on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019, at the Wauconda McDonald's located on Liberty St., where they served students and their families in a fundraising event.

Teachers Ayala, Mendoza, and Buisson worked hard selling cookies. Many Wauconda teachers worked behind the counter while Mrs. Herrera, Allgeyer, and Marion worked the Drive-Thru. Principal Monroe was at the event the entire night talking with families and taking lots of pictures with the kids.

The proceeds from the cookies sold went directly to benefit the Wauconda Grade School children. A percentage of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to the school which plans to use the money raised for Science night, Stem night, and Literacy night.

Nondas Plesiotis, Owner-Operator of the Wauconda McDonald's is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.
