Thornapple Questers Vintage Sale to benefit local historic preservation

The Thornapple Questers will host their first Vintage Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6-7, to raise money for local historic preservation efforts.

The Vintage Sale will take place at 402 S. Sixth St. in Geneva. Members and friends of Thornapple Questers donated items being offered for sale, which include furniture, vintage radios, glassware, transferware, antique dolls, linens, jewelry, garden accessories, and more.

Thornapple Questers is dedicated to promoting education, history, antiques and the preservation of historic sites and artifacts. One of almost 700 chapters that comprise Questers International, Thornapple Questers was formed in 1967.

Past support of Thornapple Questers for efforts in historic preservation include: Corron Farm, the historic Steven Jones Law Office, St. Charles History Museum, Preservation Partners of Fox Valley. The chapter recently supported the restoration of the 1852 Whitney Schoolhouse in Campton Township.
