Schaumburg Parks offering Mini Preschool

The Schaumburg Park District is hosting a Mini Preschool for children who are at least 30 months old by Sept. 1, but not yet old enough to enroll in 3-year-old preschool.

Classes will take place from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, or Tuesdays and Thursdays, at Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way in Schaumburg.

Classes also are offered from 9 to 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Pat Shepard Center, 421 N. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.

Children must be able to take care of their bathroom needs. Pull-ups are allowed until December for children who are in the process of potty training but need the reassurance of pull-ups. No diapers are allowed.

Registration is taken at the Pat Shepard Center only. Proof of residency and a birth certificate are required.
