Turtle Walks return to Lisle Public Library this summer

This summer, the Lisle Public Library District is bringing two of the Youth Services Department's most cherished members out to meet the public.

Every Friday at noon in June and July, librarians will conduct "Turtle Walks" so patrons can join the beloved reptiles for their weekly exercise sessions.

Patrons are encouraged to bring lunch or snacks along with them, which can be enjoyed in the butterfly garden at the library, 777 Front St.

Jack and Jill have been with the library for over 20 years, so many parents may remember them from when they were children.

"Turtles Walks" will last for 30 minutes, and only be held if the weather permits, so please call the library ahead of time in case of inclement weather.

For information, visit www.lislelibrary.org or call (630) 971-1675.
