Heart of the City to hold club soccer tryouts

Heart of the City invites boys and girls ages 8-19 to tryout for HOTC Elite, a competitive travel soccer program with year-round training.

Tryouts will be held May 6-7 at the Waukegan SportsPark for girls and boys born in 2006-11 and for high school boys, and May 9-10 for high school girls.

HOTC Elite puts a high emphasis on developing individual players with age appropriate curriculum. HOTC Elite club soccer fees are $500-$750, with flexible payment plans. The club trains and plays in top-notch facilities with professionally certified coaches.

Heart of the City believes that playing competitive sports offers a potential pathway for athletes to play in college and beyond and also teaches children important life lessons, such as discipline, commitment, and how to deal with failure, while providing structure and lifelong friends and mentors.

Register for tryouts for free by April 26. A $10 fee will be charged after the deadline and for walk-ins. For more information and to register, visit www.heartofthecitysports.org or call (847) 672-9732.
