Fill a Heart 4 Kids Springs Into Action With Project Hop!
Fill a Heart 4 Kids (FAH4K), an organization that gives unaccompanied homeless youth and rescued children living in group homes gifts and tools to help them thrive, is pleased to announce Project Hop™ 4 Kids© 2019, a continuation of their delivery of a signature Happy Hop Box™ full of treats to more than 1,350 children in Lake and Cook counties.
The public is invited to support this project by donating or sponsoring a Happy Hop Box™ for $15 by simply going to the website or sending donations to Fill a Heart 4 Kids, 400 East Illinois, Lake Forest, IL 60045. Through April 21st, local businesses, groups and schools are invited to come together to fill baskets of goodies that will be delivered to children to brighten their Spring season.
Fill a Heart 4 Kids will not only deliver these wonderful Happy Hop Boxes™ to the children, but thier team of select volunteers will be going out to decorate the group homes in the theme of a "Spring Wonderland"! The children will be greeted by Happy Candy Banners™ filled with loving messages and candy, balloons, and other cheerful decorations. The kids will enjoy a celebration including Easter egg hunt, cookie decorating, and a Project Hop Box™.
"Holidays are a painful time of year for children without families. We bring typical happy healthy childhood experiences to children in homes that don't have families to spend holidays with them so they don't feel left out," explains Annie McAveeney, Founder of FAH4K. "The experiences we provide to children help them feel loved and valued in a way that allows them to move forward with confidence in their purposeful life."
