Northern Kane County Chamber introduces new website

The Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to explore its recently launched new website at www.nkcchamber.com.

The website, designed by chamber member Nathan Misirian, owner of Autumn Consulting Inc. in Gilberts, offers the ultimate user-friendly experience and improved navigation. Chamber board member Bryant Crawford of 5-Star Computer Services worked with Misirian to streamline functionality in order to create improved accuracy and reduced data input duplication.

"We are very pleased to have our new website live and ready to promote our chamber member businesses and the communities we represent," said Melissa Hernandez, chamber president.

"There will be a separate landing page with information for Carpentersville, East Dundee, Gilberts, Sleepy Hollow, and West Dundee."

Visitors to the site can stay informed with the latest chamber information.

"The chamber website has been created with the end-user experience in mind," adds Misirian. "One critical component is a custom interface between the website and the NKCC mobile app."

"As part of this project," Misirian adds, "Autumn Consulting and the Chamber developed an automatic syncing program that as the website is updated, the mobile app is updated every evening as well. This feature dramatically reduces the manual effort of the NKCC staff from retyping information into the website and the app."

Chamber members have been pleased with the new updated look.

"With this new website, it is easy to stay informed about chamber events," adds Barrett Stillings, chief advancement officer of Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin. "It also gives me access to find out more about other chamber member businesses and their services."

The Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for business interests by identifying and following the needs of the business community through leadership, education, development, support and promotion. It represents the communities of Carpentersville, East Dundee, Gilberts, Sleepy Hollow, and West Dundee.
