Palatine Township Hosts Annual Town Meeting with Citizen Recognition
Palatine Township will be hosting its annual Town Meeting and Citizen Recognition on April 9, 2019, at Palatine Township Center.
Township residents are invited to attend this meeting, which will include a brief presentation relating to the Township's improvements, services, and future projects. Additionally, the Town Meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to engage in this grassroots form of local government, where each registered voter has an equal voice.
"We encourage our residents to attend and participate in this meeting, which will not only provide a glimpse into the range of services provided by the Township, but also will highlight local residents who are making a difference in our local, and greater community," said Palatine Township Supervisor Sharon Langlotz-Johnson.
During the meeting, the Township will be recognizing exemplary citizens by awarding several Township of Palatine Awards (TOPS) for individuals whose contributions have positively impacted Palatine Township.
The annual Town Hall meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9 at Palatine Township Center, 721 S. Quentin Road in Palatine, and refreshments will be served.
