Fox Valley Hands of Hope garden party committee to host kickoff Jan. 21

On Monday, Jan. 21, Fox Valley Hands of Hope will host a kickoff event for their 2019 Garden Party Committee from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Old Towne Pub and Eatery, 201 W. State St. in Geneva.

"This is a perfect time to reconnect with your fellow committee members, meet our newest committee members and bring other friends and family that are interested in joining the GPC. We will also start brainstorming for the 2019 Garden Party that's just right around the corner, it will be here before we know it," said Gayle Deja-Schultz, director of development.

Fox Valley Hands of Hope needs you to help us continue to produce this remarkable and high-end fundraiser.

This will be the 21st Garden Party and more than 700 people are expected to attend the June 10 luncheon at The Q Center in St. Charles.

The event boasts a huge live and silent auction, stunning showcase raffles, live entertainment and a fun luncheon; all to benefiting Fox Valley's premier bereavement support organization.

Fox Valley Hands of Hope provides critical support services to adults, children and families experiencing grief and loss. In 2018, it served nearly 1,900 men, women and children with volunteer-driven support services and more than a dozen support groups, including school-based programs. All services are provided free of charge to the community.

The Garden Party is its largest annual fundraising event.
