PH Library Celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Week

"Random Acts of Kindness Week" starting February 11.

Young adults in grades 9 through 12 are encouraged to sign up for various service projects.

Earn service hours while helping those in need, Grades 9-12

Cards for Kids: Monday, February 11, 4:00 - 9:00 pm Create Easter and Happy Spring cards for hospitalized children. Register.

Girls Love Mail: Tuesday, February 12, 4:00 - 9:00 pm Write a note to cheer up someone newly diagnosed with breast cancer.

Girls Love Mail collects these letters of encouragement and distributes them at cancer centers. Register.

Operation Gratitude: Wednesday, February 13, 4:00 - 9:00 pm Show your appreciation for those who have served or are currently serving our country by writing a letter or note to be included in care packages created by Operation Gratitude. Register.

Liberation Library: Thursday, February 14, 4:00 - 9:00 pm Create birthday cards and bookmarks for incarcerated youth to be donated to Liberation Library, to send them throughout Illinois. Register.

Free Rice: Friday, February 15, 4:00 - 6:00 pm Help end world hunger through the World Food Programme by correctly answering vocabulary and quiz questions to donate 10 grains of rice per question. Register.
