Culver's of Schaumburg collecting toys for hospital

Culver's of Schaumburg, 1800 W. Wise Road, will once again celebrate the holiday season by giving back to the local community.

For the sixth consecutive year, Culver's has partnered with Alexian Brothers Women and Children's Hospital in Hoffman Estates for a holiday toy drive that will result with Culver's team members delivering the toys to the hospital in mid-December.

Until then, the restaurant will be collecting new, unwrapped gifts for all ages.

Throughout the Chicago area, more than 20 Culver's will be hosting toy drives for local hospitals, food pantries and other worthy organizations located within the community where the restaurants operate.

"Culver's is proud to be a part of this collaboration that allows us to collect donations that will be delivered locally," said Culver's of Schaumburg owner Jim DiVerde. "It's special to know the toys will be given to children from our community who are going through a tough time right now."
