Be a game-changer with Fox Valley United Way on Giving Tuesday

The Fox Valley United Way is participating in Giving Tuesday this year through the #ILGive statewide campaign.

#ILGive is a 24 hour digital fundraising initiative led by Forefront. It mobilizes giving from all of the state surrounding many amazing causes.

So, why donate to Fox Valley United Way?

Fox Valley United Way fights for all children in the community to be strong, prepared, and ready for kindergarten. It is more than the fundraisers. When you "Live United," you take on challenges and tackle problems throughout the community. Problems that others shy away from.

Here are just a few of the ways these game-changers have changed the world for the better.

• SPARK, the early childhood collaboration, has engaged more than 5,700 parents and children to understand the importance of early childhood education and get them connected to programs and services.

• Fox Valley United Way has conducted over 210 developmental screenings helping to identify possible developmental delays in vulnerable children.

• Fox Valley United Way supports the work of 45 social service agencies in Kane and Kendall counties who are on the front lines supporting the most vulnerable families in the community.

• Fox Valley United Way has transformed the VNA Health Care Clinic waiting room into a "Play. Learn. Connect. Family Resource Center," where we have volunteers in the space to help connect families with resources they may need.

Fox Valley United Way is fighting the fight and scoring big wins. With your help, they can do even more. So become a hand-raiser or a game-changer. Because "United we fight, United we win."

This year any donations received by Fox Valley United Way during the 24 hour #ILGive Giving Tuesday campaign will go directly to help ensure all the children in our communities are strong, prepared and ready for kindergarten.
