On Nov. 24, Symonds-Madison Funeral Home in Elgin invites Small Business Saturday shoppers to stop by the family-owned funeral home at 305 Park St. to pick up a free "Gift of Love" planning guide and to place orders for memorial keepsake ornaments.
"While you are out shopping downtown Elgin for unique gifts, take a moment to consider the ultimate gift you can give your loved ones: peace of mind by planning ahead," said Joy Symonds, owner and family services counselor. "Please stop by to pick up your free Gift of Love planning guide and take the first steps toward preparing for the future."
"The holidays can be challenging if you are missing someone you love," said Symonds.
"Small memorials, like personalized ornaments, or continuing beloved family traditions, can be a special way to honor someone you have lost."
Symonds-Madison Funeral Home also will be taking orders for keepsake memorial ornaments which feature photos of loved ones who have passed away.
The ornaments are beautiful showpieces that will be cherished for years to come.
A photo of your choice is imprinted on flawless crystal in a classic design. The keepsakes are $24 each, and discounted to $20 each if you purchase two or more.
