Classically Trained Teachers from the Joffrey Ballet & Kirov Ballet Join the Studio

Soul 2 Sole Dance Inc. in Highland Park is proud to celebrate its 12th anniversary of serving the North Shore. With the addition of new instructors, students will have the exclusive opportunity to receive technical lyrical and jazz training by professionals from the Joffrey Ballet and the Kirov Ballet.

Always mindful of the importance of quality instruction, Soul 2 Sole Dance, Inc. has strengthened its technical programs with the addition of its professional teachers. Diane Cheeseman, Taylor Craver and Julianne Deitz, who are excited to begin teaching classes at Soul 2 Sole Dance, Inc and coaching its Lyrical and Jazz company teams.

Diane Cheeseman and Taylor Craver will be involved with the studio's Lyrical and Jazz competition teams, bringing their expertise to their students and strengthening the high level of technical skill which makes Soul 2 Sole Dance, Inc companies a force to be reckoned with at competitions and conventions.

"We are thrilled to have such a professional technical team at our studio," said Debbie Kramer, the owner of Soul 2 Sole Dance, Inc. "Students will be able to tap into the teachers' expertise, be mentored and grow into their dance passion. They will be trained to achieve success, whether dancing for school teams or as part of the competition circuit."

Diane Cheeseman (B.F.A. in Dance Performance and M.A. in Dance Education) has trained with the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., Ballet Bellevue School and Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in Russia. Diane is currently with the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago.

Taylor Craver trained in modern, contemporary, choreography, improvisation, pedagogy and ballet at The Ohio State University. Taylor (B.F.A. in Dance Performance and Education) has performed with Alluvion Dance Chicago, Visceral Dance Chicago, Dance Chicago "Dance from the Heart," Noumenon Dance Ensemble.

Julianne Dietz trained at Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., Joffrey Ballet School in New York, Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway in New York and Inaside Chicago Dance.

Julianne studied the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and Vagonava techniques in Ballet as well as Jazz, Modern, Tap and Acro.

"The talent and skill displayed by our students and the awards, scholarships, and recognition they receive makes the studio very proud," said Kramer. "Our companies have competed in Nationals and won the highest honors while competing against top studios throughout the country. All students who participate in Company have really excelled in all areas of the program. Members of the competition companies at Soul 2 Sole Dance, Inc. are taught the very best technical and performance training while also learning valuable life lessons such as teamwork, leadership, worth ethic, commitment, responsibility and goal setting."

Diane Cheeseman will be teaching the Excite Lyrical Company, as well as classes in Lyrical, Contemporary Ballet and Ballet Tech. Taylor Craver will be teaching the Inspire Lyrical Company, as well as classes in Lyrical Contemporary Ballet and Ballet Tech. Julianne Dietz will be teaching Ballet Tech, Acro and Preschool Classes.
