Wheaton Library accepts donations for book sale

Donations are being accepted at the Wheaton Public Library for the Friends of the Library book sales.

Residents can donate used adult and children's books for the Aug. 22-25 book sale.

Donations also are being accepted of used DVDs, CDs, LPs, audiobooks, and computer games for the Media Sale scheduled for Sept. 19-23.

All donations may be left in the donation bins located in the library lobby, 225 N. Cross St., during regular library hours. Donations should be placed in a box or bag.

You can help support the library with your donations of children's and adult hardcover books, paperbacks or Books on Tape or CD, as well as DVDs, music CDs or LPs, CD-ROMs or video games.

Larger donations may be dropped off n the first Saturday of every month between 9 a.m. and noon. Volunteers will be available at that time to unload donations.

Call (630) 469-6117 for information or to arrange a drop-off at a different time. Donations are not accepted at the checkout desk or delivery door without prior arrangement.

Gifts to the library and the Friends are tax deductible. A donation of materials form is available for your use and you may pick one up when you drop off materials at the drop box in the library lobby.

All proceeds from the Friends Book Sales are used for the benefit of the library.
