The next West Suburban Wordplay will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 15, on the second floor of Imago Creative Studios, 216 Prairie St. in Elgin.

West Suburban Wordplays are hosted by writer-in-residence Adam Gottlieb and Corey Dillard, director of in-house productions.

The event includes a writing workshop from one of the teaching artists, an open mic (open to any and all participants), and followed by a special feature. This follows the Wordplay format very closely, but is more conveniently located for teens in the greater Chicago area.

The West 'Burb Wordplay in Elgin is held on the third Friday of every month. The next dates at Imago will be July 20 and Aug. 17.

Writer's Workshop with Corey Dillard, Adam Gottlieb, or one of the other teaching artists begins at 6 p.m., Open Mic at 7 p.m., followed by a special feature.

On Friday, June 22, the Algonquin program will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Daily Projects Coffee Bar & Eatery, 124 S. Randall Road in Algonquin.

All West 'Burb Wordplay events are open to the public and you are welcome to attend any and all events.
