Students from Westview Elementary School visited the Wood Dale City Hall this week, participating in Student Government Days. Students learned about the workings of the city, functions of local government and received a tour of both city hall and the Wood Dale Police Station.

On Thursday evening, students joined the Wood Dale City Council meeting, interacting with Wood Dale elected officials.

Students were elected into official roles by their classmates and with the help of the actual Wood Dale City officials, held their own council meeting.
